Kabul (BNA) The 68th session of high commission for anti-violence against women was held the other day in ministry of women affairs.
In the session, minister of women affairs Delbar Nazari spoke and said that all ministries and relevant government institutions should act upon their commitments in prevention of violence against women and cooperate the ministry in this regard. She considered presence of deputy ministers and relevant government institutions in the respective commission’s session as important, asking for their presence in the sessions to achieve goals of the commission. In the session, deputy minister of publication affairs for information and culture Associate Prof. Sayeda Mojgan Mostafavi spoke and asked ministry of women affairs to launch programs for deputy ministers in order to get familiar with national working plan and anti-violence efforts against women, stressing that marriages, births and deaths of women should be registered so that rights of women would be restored. In the session, speakers insisted on coordination of relevant institutions in prevention of violence against women in the country and committed to making efforts towards achieving goals of the commission.
