Kabul (BNA) If the countries of the region and the world not review their strategies on counter drug campaign, the ominous problem of narcotics will never end.
BNA analyst of drugs related affairs, commenting on the issue writes there is no doubt that terrorism and narcotics moving parallel to each other, because the biggest supporters of drug traffickers are people who have close links with armed oppositions. Therefore, it is easily understandable that in addition to terrorist and extremist groups, international mafias are behind the dissemination of cultivation of narcotic in Afghanistan. Therefore, to overcome the problem of narcotics, there is a need the countries of the region and the world join hands in struggle against drugs that threats the world. To achieve that humane goal the countries of the region and the world should review their strategies on campaign against narcotics.
According to political experts until war is going on in Afghanistan and certain intelligence services of the region using terrorism as a means for achieving their evil goals, the efforts for reduction and eradication of narcotic drugs will not reach any positive result. Terrorists and extremists encourage poppy cultivation, processing narcotics materials and finally trafficking, the products to world markets to ensure their military requirements. The Afghan leadership consistently have invited to a regional and international gathering to discuss extensively the problems related to terrorism and narcotic drugs and to adopt practical measures for complete eradication of those evil and destructive phenomenon.
It is an undeniable fact that the war has imposed on Afghanistan and terrorists supported by the certain intelligence of the region have sent to the country for killing innocent Afghans and destruction of their homeland. In addition, of committing those criminal acts, they encourage poppy cultivation in insecure parts of the country. The people of Afghanistan are not only fighting terrorism and extremism on first battlefronts but also they are the victims of counter drug campaign.
If the countries of the region and the world really want to end terrorism and safe the world from the danger of narcotic drugs, they should fight both heinous phenomena alike in the same time.
