Kabul (BNA) A journalist hanged himself Monday night in Balkh.
Sayed Asrar, known as Hamid Muqtadir, hanged and ended his life in his residential house in Mazar-e-Sharif, capital city of Balkh.
Muqtadir had worked as a freelance journalist for central newspapers for years.
He was 25 and has two children. His relatives say that Muqtadir might have hanged himself due to economic poverty.
A spokesman for Balkh police Shirjan Durani while affirming the news said investigation was underway related to modality of the case.
