Kabul (BNA) I was informed with regret that one of the novelists and famous statesmen of the country, Abdul Karim Misaq died in exile as a result of illness.
Bereaved Misaq had previously served as Minister of Finance and Kabul mayor.
Karim Misaq was one of precedent writers and man of culture of Afghanistan.
He spent most of his time in writing and made effort for development of culture and literature of the country. His services are laudable and his death is a great loss.
I offer my sympathy and condolence to his family, friends, penmen and cultural society of the country and invite from Almighty Allah paradise for the bereaved and reward and patience for his remnants.
