Neeli (BNA) At least 9 people have been dead and 72 residential houses have been destroyed due to rainfall and flooding in Dykundi province.
Masoma Muradi governor of Dykundi said BNA correspondent, according to reports that received from Khader, Sang Takht and Geti districts of the province 9 people were killed, six wounded, 72 residential homes completely destroyed and 150 residential houses partially damaged following the flash floods.
We have repeated contacts with charity foundations to aids with affected families, and also 250 tons flours have been distributed by state of emergency department to the affected families in the districts, Muradi added.
It has been said, the flash floods destruction is unprecedented in Dykundi province.
