Kabul (BNA) A number of the country’s talented and known youth have been appreciated by the Deputy Ministry of Information and Culture on Youth Affairs, here in Kabul the other day, the BNA reported.
Dr. Kamal Sadat, the deputy minister for the youth affairs told the gathering in the ministry’s conference hall that he was happy to have some of the country’s talented youth, who have done much for their country, appreciated, the agency quoted. Sadat also lauded the country’s sportspersons in the fields of football and cricket to have gained achievement and honor for the country, the agency further added. A journalist, Muslim Shirzad also spoke about the bravery of the youth and advised them for being more dynamic to serve for their society, according to the agency. Feda Mohammad Fayez, head of the youth safety of the ministry of information and culture said the ministry was planned to provide more services for the youth who have worked for their society and appreciate their works in the future. At the end, appreciate letters were distributed among some talented journalist and sportspersons. According to another report, a poem and satire collection related to Shukria Nadim Kharoti, a Pashto writer and poet, was unveiled during a ceremony, during of which Prof. Abdul Hadi Quraishi spoke about. Mahboba Sadat, Gender manger of the ministry of information and culture also spoke in the meeting along with Partaw Naderi, the writer and poet, Jalal Norani stair writer and Najiba Maram, publication director of the ministry were among the speakers.
