Kabul (BNA) A campaign launched by the government on Sunday, collected 350 addicts from a Kabul area and moved them to vocational center. The addicts were living in an open area despite the cold weather.
They were moved to a recently established center to learn professions. Public Health Minister Ferozuddin Feroz said that the addicts without shelters would be moved to the center to be saved from the cold weather. “There, they will be treated and learn some careers,” he said. More than 1,000 addicts will be sheltered, treated and trained in the center. The campaign includes ministries of public health, counter-narcotics, economy and interior.
