First Ever Afghan-Info Database To Be Launched In Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA) The UN facilitated Afghan-Info system is expected to be launched in Afghanistan, where the officials said the system would be freely used by the users, after being installed in the mobile phones.
Afghan-Info is a powerful database helping the users gets access the human development indexes, said Kazem Habibi, chief director of Afghanistan’s central statistical office, adding all governmental and nongovernmental organizations including NGOs, civil society networks, academy and other individuals can use both online and as mobile phones’ use.
Development of the mobile phones some installed 3G internet across the country has covered almost 23 million users, with the Central Statistics office can provide the interested users with fresh information.
In Afghanistan, the system is named Afghan-Info like in any other countries it is called in their own names.
Representative of the UN Monetary Fund, Eklil Ayer who was one of the speakers asked the users to download the system in their mobiles and share it with at least ten more users, advising to be shared with another ten and so on.
The budget of the database is provided by the UN Children Monetary Fund and the system is used all over the world including Afghanistan, where the users can get rapidly the exact numbers and figures about the economic, social and demographic issues, via their smart mobile or online computer.
