Kabul (BNA) Reforms and Urban Development High Commission’s session was held yesterday under the chairmanship of Ahmad Zia Massoud, Special Envoy to President on Reforms and Good Governance here in Kabul.
In the session, members of the commission discussed modality of controlling waters and stream waters beside Kabul city roads.
Special envoy to president on reforms and good governance first while expressing concern over not controlling stream waters of Kabul city asked Kabul municipality officials for serious consideration to addressing problems and challenges which residents of Kabul city were facing with.
Ahmad Zia Massoud instructed Kabul municipality officials to prepare a plan for controlling stream waters of Kabul city within a week.
In the session, head of Afghan water supply and canalization while briefing related to works of the company in the city said Afghan water supply and canalization has sent its drafts to ministries for addressing problems of water supply and canalization, adding that in cooperation with ministry of urban development a standardized map would be prepared so that towns could evacuate their stream waters through modern technology.
