Kabul (BNA) 4000 quake-affected families of Takhar province have received aids provided by Khalifa Bin Zaid Al-Nehyan welfare organization in cooperation with the United Ara Emirates embassy to Kabul.
Each family has received 50 kg flour, 10 kg cooking oil, 10 kg bean and four blankets.
In opening ceremony held for distribution of the aids in Takhar, the province’s governor Dr. Mohammad Yasin Zia praised UAE for its efforts towards providing aids to affected and miserable families in Afghanistan.
At the end of the ceremony, the welfare organization of Khalifa bin Ziad al-Nehyan was granted a certificate of appreciation.
Meanwhile, on behalf of First Vice President office, Gen. Khair Mohammad Timor has also praised UAE for its assistances to Afghan miserable families.
Related to UAE aids, UAE Charge de affaire to Kabul Juma al-Kabi has said that the organization would distribute its aids to recent quake-affected families in Badakhshan and Kunar provinces in near future.
