HERAT CITY (BNA) About 166 people were wounded following road accidents that recently took place in western Herat province.
Mohammad Aref Jalali head of Herat regional hospital told BNA, the incident occurred within the last one week in different parts of districts and city of Herat province.
Most of the injured are men and carelessness of drivers and non-observing traffic rules and laws are the main reason behind the events, Jalali added.
Also, 132 people were wounded during criminal cases and have been shifted to Herat regional hospital during this time, Jalali further added.
It is mentionable that, dozens people wounded were injured and killed following traffic accidents and criminal cases every week in Herat province.
