Kunduz City (BNA) The construction work of 33 welfare projects has been started in northern Kunduz province yesterday.
According to BNA report, the projects with a cost of 80 million Afghani to be implemented by Citizenship Covenant Program in relevant areas of Kunduz city.
Abdul Jabar Naiemi governor of Kunduz said by implementation of such welfare projects the doors of war, poverty, unemployment and youth escape will be closed.
Governor of Kunduz asked from people to cooperate with government regarding executing of public utility projects in the province.
The welfare projects include the construction of over 4100 meters retaining wall, gravelling of 93 kg road that by starting works on the projects work opportunities provided for over 3500 people and 5500 families will be benefited from the projects.
Dost Mohammad Raihan head of rural rehabilitation and development department in Kunduz told, within the next 6 months dozens welfare projects with a sum of 250 million Afghani would be implemented in districts and center of Kunduz province.
