Qala-e-Naw City (BNA) At a sum of Afg. 25,000,000 funded by National Solidarity Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (NSP/MRRD) 16 welfare projects have been completed in northwest Badghis province.
Head of rural rehabilitation and development department in Badghis told BNA reporter, these projects have been executed in various parts of Muqar, Akmary, Qades districts and Qala-e-Naw city the provincial capital of the province.
The mentioned projects encompass the reconstruction of rural roads, gravelling of sub-roads, concrete, cleaning of Karizs, extension of water supplies networks, protection walls, retaining walls, water dams and water canals.
Approximately, 8,500 families in different communities had an opportunity to gain access to basic human needs upon completion of these projects.
