Kabul (BNA) At a cost of more than AFN 20,000,000 funded by National Solidarity Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/NSP) 43 public utility projects were recently completed in southern Zabul province.
According to information of relation and publication department of MRRD to BNA, these development projects include the reconstruction of water canals, cleaning of water supplies (Kariz) and gravelling of rural roads that have been completed in Qalat, Shinkai, Jaldak and Shah Joy districts of the province.
Approximately, 7,000 families in various communities have gained access to basic human needs upon completion of these projects.
During the implementation the mentioned projects work opportunities have been provided to 1665 skilled and unskilled workers in the districts.
Since its inception in Zabul province, the NSP has covered 260 villages and until now could to implement 75 development projects in different sectors across the province.
