Kabul (BNA) The construction works of 10 welfare projects have been completed by financial assistance of Asian Development Bank (ADB) through emergency program of Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) in Samangan.
Eng. Mohammad Asif Dawlat Shahi head of RRD department of Samangan told BNA, the projects included construction of canals, consolidation protective walls and 8 irrigation canals that have been completed in relevant areas of Samangan province with cost of 42m Afghanis with assistance of ADB.
With the completion of the projects shortage of irrigation water of 3000 thousand acres of land have been solved and more than 2900 families will benefits ease of the projects.
