Kabul (BNA) About 173 refugees returned from Iran to their homeland (Afghanistan) in the past 48 hours.
Islamuddin Jurat spokesman of ministry of refugees and repatriation said BNA reporter, the refugees voluntary entered from Islam Qala border to western Herat province.
Among the refugees, 152 of them has ID cards, which cash assisted by United National High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to them and 21 other refugees, who had not ID cards introduced by refugees and repatriation department of Nangarhar to international refugee’s organization office based in Herat city to receive assistances, Jurat added.
