Mahtarlam City (BNA) At a cost of AFN 38,570,000 funded by the National Solidarity Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/NSP) 21 infrastructure projects have recently been completed in eastern Laghman province.
According to information of relation and publication department of MRRD to BNA, these projects include the construction of protection walls, water canals, supplies of agriculture water, retaining walls, culverts, community centers, extension of a water supply network, pathway construction, gravelling of rural roads and excavation of wells with hand pump, which have been implemented in Alishing, Alingar, Badpanat and Qarghayee districts of the province.
Since its inception in Laghman province, the NSP has covered 819 villages in the province, which until now the program could to complete and put into exploitation 2779 public utility projects in different sectors throughout the province.
