Kabul (BNA) The Ministry of Information and Culture, with the Gender Office marked on Sunday Mother Breastfeeding Week, during which, Mahbouba Saadat addressing the mother staff of the ministry, spoke about the importance of the breastfeeding and its effectiveness to the newborns, said Bakthar News Agency.
She called mothers’ breastfeeding a god gift and advised mothers not to hesitate to fully use their milks to feed their babies, the agency quoted.
“Allah the Almighty will award great remuneration of liberating 70 bondsmen against each drop to those mothers feeding their babies through their breast,” the agency quoted her as saying.
In the ceremony, Dr. Zaher Roodwal, child health specialist called breastfeeding the most important and advised that newborns should be fed with breast milk all for 2 and half years.
