Kabul (BNA) For more than 1 thousand families foods and non-food material have been distributed by directorate of disaster and charity organization in some districts of Badakhshan province.
Sayed Abdullah Hamayon Dehqan head of disaster department of the province told BNA, most of the damage caused by recent floods in Tashkan and Shuhada districts in which houses of 985 families have been completely destroyed.
Source added, the distributed food aids include flour, cooking oil, rice, sugar, bean, pea tea, mineral water and biscuits and non-food aids including Campbell, seat kitchen, health seat, children packages and tents.
Abdul Mahroof Khairkhaw governor district of Shuhada said, despite of foods and nonfoods aids, more than 200 families are living outdoor.
Also Gul Mohammad Bedar acting deputy governor of Badakhshan said, health mobile medical teams have been sent to the region to help patients caused by floods incident.
