Bamyan (BNA) About 5 people have been dead and hundreds residential houses were destroyed as heavy rainfall and flooding hit in Bamyan province.
Ahmad Zia Rafat head of counter-disaster department in Bamyan said BNA reporter, reports shows that four people lost their lives in Waras and Panjab districts and another was killed due to avalanche in Yakawlang district of the province.
184 residential houses completely were destroyed, 166 residential homes partially have been damaged, dozens acres of agricultural lands, dozens km roads have been destroyed and dozens livestock died, Rafat added.
A delegation had been dispatched by provincial authority to the affected areas for further survey, the source concluded.
