Kabul (BNA) The country’s first lady, Bibi Gul Ghani has said that the (Scout Entity) Sarandoi teaches the spirit of unity and cooperation to the children.
In her address to mark Sarandoi day in a meeting organized by Deputy Ministry for Youth Affairs here yesterday, the first lady, besides urging the youth to join Sarandoi also called for unity among all tribes and ethnics of Afghanistan. Speaking in the meeting, Dr. Kamal Sadat, Deputy Minister of Information and Culture on Youth Affairs, besides encouraging the youth to join the Scout entity urged them to utilize the facilities of youth affairs deputy ministry. At the end of the meeting, an appreciation board prepared by the youth affairs deputy ministry was handed over to the first lady. The non-official body—Sarandoi (Scout) which was badly damaged during civil war has been revived by the Youth Affairs Deputy Ministry in cooperation with Parsa administration.
