Kabul (BNA) Welcoming spring of the New Year will be considered as the best celebration by planting a sapling.
According to BNA, a few days are ahead for celebration the green season of the year in the country.
National Environment Protection Agency (NEPA) in a statement has asked all countrymen to play their role in greenery of the country by planting a sapling somewhere in the country. NEPA, therefore, issued slogans as well for marking the new spring as ‘granting a sapling is sadaqah ‘charity’, ‘plant sapling and make green your country’, ‘gift a happy spring to all by planting a sapling’.
According to a number of Afghanistan citizens and experts, if planting a sapling is a responsibility, protecting and keeping it is also a responsibility as millions of saplings are annually planted each spring in the country, but paying no attention to keeping them causes that most of the saplings get dried.
It is needed that all citizens should make effort to protect saplings they plant so that we have a green city in future.
