Kabul (BNA) Urban development minister Sayed Saadat Mansour Naderi paid a visit to eastern provinces the other day.
During his visit to Laghman, minister of urban development met with governor of the province Abdul Jabar Naeemi and discussed various issues including addressing current challenges in the province. Naderi while regarding Laghman as historic with bright past added ministry of urban development was trying to urban development in the province and addressing the people’s problems. He further said that the ministry would also try to absorb domestic and foreign investors for construction of cities in each province including Laghman in accordance to the country’s laws. During his visit to Nangarhar, minister of urban development met governor of the province Saleem Kunduzi and officially opened provincial building. In a session attended by Nangarhar governor, representatives of people in national assembly and tribal elders, minister of urban development promised to address demands and problems enumerated by tribal elders of the province in the session. Afterwards, minister of urban development, along with his accompanying delegation, has paid a visit to Kunar province, and met with deputy governor, representatives of people in national assembly and number of officials of the province. Addressing problems of the people, focusing attention of government to the province and increasing the number of security forces for safeguarding of borders were the issues enumerated in the meeting. In a ceremony attended by representatives and officials of Kunar, Nadiri opened new building of the provincial office and submitted strategic plan of the province to deputy and representatives of the province. Minister of urban development also promised that necessary attention would be paid to the province.
