Kabul (BNA) The wave of fleeing the country and an extensive migration to European countries will have nefarious consequences to Afghanistan; therefore, it is an urgent need for the state, establishing a precise strategy to campaign against this severe problem.
The BNA commentator who precisely analyses social affairs write on that regard since two years ago the process of fleeing the country and asylum seeking from other countries has become a challenging issue and daily a great number of people especially the young generation are fleeing the country.
Political experts believe lack of confidence to future and security, suspicions, and doubt of people regarding to restoring peace in to the country, poverty, and unemployment are the main factors that cause the people especially the youths accepting all hardships even death to flee the country.
What have mentioned above, are the bitter facts that the Afghan community has involved in it. If the authorities of the country draw and show a hopeful and prosperous image from the future there would be no any need for people, especially the youths accepting all hardships and humiliations leave the country to live abroad. Therefore, to curb the vicious phenomenon of fleeing the country, ensuring security, creating job opportunities and improving economic and social situation of the people should be the priorities of state’s strategy.
One of the main reasons for emigration and seeking asylum in Afghanistan is unemployment and increasing economic problems. While today there are fifty one thousand vacant posts in state run departments and thousands unemployed educated youths are wandering about. Why the state for filling the vacancy do nothing and with assigning the youths in to vacant posts reduce the level of unemployment in the country.
The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan had certain programs for settling unemployment problem and creating job opportunities, but not implemented timely. As the ministry of public work earlier signed some contracts with foreign countries among them, South Korea, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia to provide work opportunities but so far has done nothing for capacity building and training skillful workers.
Despite all these, one cannot consider the above issues incentive for escaping the country because the situation outside the country is also worse, the humiliating dealing of the citizens of host countries with the refugees, lowers the worth of immigration. Certainly, there are some incentives for immigrations, but we should acknowledge that going to the west has become a wish and a dream to enjoy a better life there and a number of our youths want to fulfill their dreams through going to western countries. In the same time, there are countries that try to take our human, physical and skillful forces in one way or another in order to prevent us from progress and keep us in need for skillful and educated personnel.
Therefore, for neutralizing the plots of the enemies it would be better to stay in the country and for settling the current problems we should organize and mobilize our efforts because escaping is not the way for the solution of problems suffering us.
