Taliqan (BNA) With implementation of three water intakes 1200 families have gained access to drinking water in Chah Aab district, northern Takhar province.
Raz Mohammad Faiz head of rural rehabilitation and development department of Takhar told BNA correspondent, the projects with a cost 125,000 USD funded by DACAR organization in Shah Dara, Masjid Sorukh and Khorshid Qala regions of Chah Aab district, which problems of 1200 families have been settled from shortage of drinking water in the areas.
Each water intake has the capacity of 75 meter cubic water storage, Faiz added.
A resident of the areas expressed his pleasure from DACAR organization for building of the water intakes said, already we had a lot of problems regarding drinking water, but now our problems have been solved.
