Aibak (BNA) With execution of 120 water supplies the shortage of water for hundreds acres of lands have been settled in northern Samangan province.
Abdul Majed Khairkhawa in-charge of national provincial horticulture and livestock project of the ministry of agriculture and irrigation in Samangan said BNA, the water storages have been implemented at the length of 10 meters and width of 4.5 meters at the cost of 1,596, 000 USD in center and some districts of the province.
75% cost of the water supplies funded by World Bank and 25% others have paid by gardeners, Khairkhawa added.
With completion of the water reserves the water shortages of hundreds of acres lands have been solved in summer season and the problems of thousands families were settled from lack of drinking water.
