Kabul (BNA) Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in a message has condoled the demise of the country’s top police officer Khwaja Abdul Fatah Sediqi, passing away at the age of 78 due to an illness he was suffering.
Al-Hajj Khwaja Abdul Fatah Sediqi, born in Qarabagh district of Kabul, had joined the second term of police academy after completing his education in middle and secondary school in the district.
After graduating from the police academy, he had been dispatched to Egypt for further higher education and after completing his higher education in the respective country, he returned home and served for 40 years as police officer in Shahr-e-Naw, Shah Shaheed, head of audition for MoI with full honesty and love.
In his message, the country’s President has offered his deep condolence and sympathy to the deceased family, relatives, colleagues, police personnel and the people of Afghanistan and considered his death as a big loss, wishing paradise to the deceased and patience to the remained.
