Kandahar (BNA) Eleven passengers were martyred and 23 others were injured in a traffic accident on Kandahar-Herat highway.
The incident happened this morning when a passenger bus collided with a car.
A Kabul-Herat highway traffic official told BNA that both vehicles were carrying passengers to Kabul and Herat.
He confirmed that 11 passengers lost their lives and 23 others were injured in the incident.
Road recklessness has been cited as the main cause of this deadly traffic incident.
Doctors at hospitals in Kandahar and Herat report the health condition of at least six injured passengers critical.
