Jalalabad (BNA) The foundation stone of a large mosque was laid down in Behsud district of Nangarhar.
The Nangarhar of Hajj and Endowments Department says an Islamic aid organization is paying $ 25,000 to build the mosque.
This mosque will be able to hold up to a thousand worshipers at a time.
Mawlawi Mohammad Dawood Mujahid, the head of Nangarhar Hajj and Endowments, told BNA that in the facilities of this mosque, the center of Islamic sciences training, ablution houses and a place for the presence and residence of Mullah Imam have been considered.
This mosque is supposed to be used for another four months.
