Maidan Shahr (BNA) Parts of Maidan-Wardak province were witness of flash floods yesterday.
According to local residents, the floods caused more human and financial losses in parts of Maidan-Wardak province, but the exact number is not clear.
It has been said, dozens families because of losing their houses have been displaced in other parts of the province.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman of Maidan/Wardak in a telephone contact confirmed the flash floods in parts of the province said, rescue and aids teams gone to the areas to assist affected families, but, the assistances is not enough and the affected families need for further assists.
BNA correspondent from Maidan/Wardak says residents of the region and Afghan security forces try to help the affected families as well.
