Kabul (BNA) November 25th is an international day for banning anti women violation. This day is of great importance for Afghan women who are fighting against various forms of violations and sustained severe losses in their righteous campaign.
The social affairs analyst of BNA commenting on the issue writes 25th of November marks internationally to eradicate various forms of anti-women violations .The day is of great importance for Afghan women who are experiencing severe violations in their daily lives. The Afghan women celebrating the day in a situation that the politicians and civic activists complain about the deplorable and horrible violations are facing daily Afghan women. This is a clear fact that the majority of Afghan women are suffering from different forms of violations, the safety of their mind and soul harshly harmed and not done enough to rescue them from this horrible situation.
Afghanistan is a country with traditions and customs of its own, has not done enough to meet the problems of women and their voice unheard. The women are the victims of social customs and traditions prevail in the society. The women’s life in rural areas has its own specialties. The women have no right to take part in decision making of the family on relevant issues. Their education right has ignored or limited to mosque or primary school education. They have no the right to choose their couple and the issue fully depends to the family decision particularly to the men. Offering medical services for rural women are very limited and some occasion access to physician is impossible for them. The most shocking is that the women used as means for settling family or ethnical disputes. This injustice and heinous dealing with women and girls in Afghan society has caused severe and unheard incidences in the country. The recent incident in Ghore province where a young girl named Rukhshana sentenced to death in a summary trial and brutally stoned to death. Torturing a young girl named Farkhunda to death, killing the hostages in Arghunab district Zabul province where including some women beheaded and brutally killing of Toorpaikay Ulfat are among the crimes against women committed by anti-women rights criminals in this country.
Likewise, anti-women, family and economic violations and unsafe atmosphere in working places and poor status of women in the community that are facing the female to severe problems, solving the problems require an organized and coordinated efforts of both men and women in the country.
In last 14 years, for protecting and defending the rights of women have designed extensive programs and plans but brought, not the expected results.
The politicians and woman rights activists believe violence against woman in Afghanistan used for ensuring the interests of certain groups and the existence of numerous NGOs and organizations instead of ensuring women rights provide the ground groups to acquire privileges and benefits who are not deserve.
The political experts insist that lack of coordination between slogans and objectives is the main factors that cause the restoration of women’s rights pass through a difficult way. This problem can only settle when the campaign for eradication of violence against women not to suffice only to slogans but true and honest action for achieving the aim should preferred. The mosques alters are the proper places to explain the rights of women in Islam. If the people become aware of rights of women guaranteed in Islam, many problems of women especially in rural areas settle. In the same time mass media, schools, high education institutes, and public places are also good places for explaining the women rights and human rights in general that can be used for eradication of anti-women violence and ensuring human rights in order to establish a free of violence and building a safe society.
