NUG Leaders Condole Death of Prominent Afghan Comedian

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in a message condoled death of prominent Afghan comedian and actor Asef Jalali, who passed away due to cardiac arrest in a hospital in Kabul on Tuesday.
“Deceased Jalali was trying to keep the people happy via acting in different dramas and TV shows as well as was paying efforts to bring about reform in the society through such programs,” the president was quoted in the statement as saying.
Meanwhile the Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah also condoled death of Asef Jalali, who was also famous for Asef uncle among his supporters.
Both the President and Chief Executive extended their condolences to the family and friends of deceased Jalali and wished paradise for the departed soul.
Jalali was a prominent figure of Afghan cinema and television and was famous for being a comic. Jalali had hosted several comedy and entertainment programs in various media outlets across the country and had worked on several feature films as well.
In a separate message the Ministry of Information and Culture also condoled the death of Afghan comedian and actor Asef Jalali.
