Salaam Network Offers Low Price Services

Kabul (BNA) He said the districts in remote areas of the country would soon be covered by the company, though he expressed concern over what he said a threat from militants, who resort to explosion of the towers or opening fire to the workers, despites high cost to install and provide them with generators’ produced electricity.
KABUL: The state-run Salaam Communication Network could do its best to provide good services and low priced internet and achieve great success since its establishment one year ago, an official said the other day.
General Director for the Afghan Telecom, Gul Ahmad Rastman said,  in to provide high quality services for the costumers across the country, the company was committed to cover the country’s 34 provinces, with 3G internet services and in those provinces with no Optical Fiber would be soon covered by Salaam network.
Rastman added that the Afghan Telecom wanted to have 600 thousand costumers within one year, but it could collect some one million and eight hundred costumer, something can be called a great success for the company.
He said Salaam was a state ran company working within the Afghan Telecom communication network, the expenses of which could be counted in second, while other private companies are grabbing five second’s expenses equal to 30 seconds.
According to him, the company was in a sound competition with other private communication companies, but, it wanted to reduce the prices much enough to help the costumers receive good services and low priced internet offers.
One GB internet was sold at $4,000 earlier, while it reduced to $1,500 after accessing optical fiber in 2010 and in 2015, it downed to only $54, Rastman said.
He said the districts in remote areas of the country would soon be covered by the company, though he expressed concern over what he said a threat from militants, who resort to explosion of the towers or opening fire to the workers, despites high cost to install and provide them with generators’ produced electricity.
The company has some free of charge services such as ambulance, police, firefighting, hospitals etc.
The company had done its services free of charge in Ali Abad hospital and through the ministry of education for the schools and universities, he continued.
A costumer of the company, Mohammad Kabir Sultani said, he usually used the Salaam network internet and other services, with low prices, as other communication networks’ offers were higher and they can’t tolerate. 
According to him, the companies’ workers were in good contact with the costumers and do what they want to help them install and use all its services including the internet.
