KANDAHAR CITY (BNA) Foodstuffs have been distributed by Afghan Red Crescent to 1000 needy and poor families in southern Kandahar province.
The families lost their agriculture lands due to drought and flash floods in TakhtaPul, Daman, Dand and Zheri districts of the province.
Abdul Hanan Muneeb deputy governor of Kandahar while distributing the aids said, process of foodstuffs distribution continued to thousands destitute families in other parts of Kandahar province.
The foodstuffs include flour, cooking ghee, rice, peace, bean and salt.
