JALALABAD CITY (BNA) A water network have been inaugurated in Koot district, eastern Nangarhar province.
The network that use solar power provides drinking water to 520 families in Koot district of the province.
Maujib Rahman Zia head of reconstruction and rural development department in Nangarhar told BNA correspondent, the water network has been built with a sum of over 2.1 million Afghanis financed by government.
Local residents expressed their pleasure during the inauguration ceremony and say, before that we didn’t access to healthy drinking water.
