HERAT CITY (BNA) The foundation stone of seven water supplies laid down in Karakh district, western Herat province.
The water supplies to be built in Banafshak, Ghizan, Chalistan, Pusht Aab Mash, Pusht Sarasyab, Kaj Joy and Jandakhan villages of Karakh district of the province.
Director of agriculture, irrigation and livestock in Herat reported that totally the length of the water supplies estimated over 27 km, will be covered 3780 families and would be irrigated hundreds acres of agricultural lands in Karakh district.
The cost of the projects estimated about 100 million Afghanis.
