KANDAHAR CITY (BNA) Foodstuffs and non-foodstuffs have been distributed to hundreds flood damaged families in southern Kandahar province.
The families lost their residential houses in Zheri district and Kandahar city the provincial capital of the province.
Press office of Kandahar governor by releasing a statement issued that, in this round 610 flood affected families have received foodstuffs and non-foodstuffs.
The assistances have been provided by charity organizations.
Recently, flash floods have been destroyed over 1000 residential houses in Kandahar province.
Despite of more than 1500 families were forces to flee from the area, at least 20 people lost their lives and dozens others were wounded following the flash floods in the province.
