Traffic Accidents Leave 40 People Wounded During Eid Days In Parwan

Kabul (BNA) 40 people have been wounded in separate traffic accidents during Eid days in Parwan province. Ishaq Nasimi, a doctor from the civil hospital in the provincial capital of Parwan said that during the three days of Eid-ul-Fitr, 15 traffic accidents have been recorded in different parts of the province. He said 40 people, including women and children, sustained injuries in these accidents.
According to Nasimi, all of the victims were discharged after the treatment.
Another report from Parwan province suggests that a driver died after his vehicle veered off the road and plunged into the river in Salang this morning.
Mehrabuddin Parwani, head of the traffic department of the police headquarters of Parwan said that the fuel tanker fell into the river after it had a crash with a Hino truck.
He said two people in the Hino vehicle sustained injuries and the driver of the fuel tanker lost his live in the accident.
Those wounded have been announced out of danger.
