PUL-E-KHUMRI CITY (BNA) The construction work of new congregation mosque has started in Pul-e-Khumri city the provincial capital of the northern Baghlan province yesterday.
Nezamuddin Hamidi mayor of Pul-e-Khumri told BNA correspondent, the mosque building to be built on 900 acres of land with of cost of one million USD funded from development budget of presidential administrative office in two floors within the next six months.
The congregation mosque has the capacity of 2,000 payers in a time, Hamidi added.
Mawlavi Naqibullah head of hajj and pilgrimage department said, the building of old mosque bankrupted, fortunately the construction work of new mosque has started and the payers concerns were solved.
