Pul-e-Khumri City (BNA) A water canal after construction put into exploitation in northern Baghlan province today.
Abdul Ghayas Sadiqi director of agriculture, irrigation and livestock told BNA reporter, the water canal has built in the framework of Water Management in Farm Program with a cost of about 19 million Afghani by ministry of agriculture, irrigation and livestock in Doabi village, Nahreen district of Baghlan province.
The water canal has been constructed at the length of 6.6 kilometers that irrigating over 492 acres of land in Nahreen district, Sadiqi added.
By construction of the water canal, 1588 families benefiting from water too, Sadiqi concluded.
