Kabul (BNA) With a cost of more than 83 million Afs 86-sub projects of the National Solidarity Programme of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development were recently completed in Arghandab, Spin Boldak, Dand, Khakriz, Aywand, Meyanashin, Shaga, Maruf, Shah Walikot and Shorabak districts of Kanndahar, province and handed over to the people.
According to the provincial manager of NSP in Kandahar province, these development projects included construction of community centers, canals, retaining walls, gravelling of rural roads, culverts and gabion wall.
Approximately, 8,375 families have benefited from these developments projects.
Since its inception, the NSP has expended Afs 1,608,091,180 for implementation of 1,890 development projects in various sectors such as Education, Irrigation, Livelihood, Power, Rural Development, Transport and Water Supply and sanitation.
Thousands of residents of Kandahar province, benefited from these projects so far.
