Kabul (BNA) The Minister of Rural Development and rehabilitation on Tuesday said 948 development project worth $51 million has been implemented in the country while 4,092 more development projects worth $225 million were being implemented.
The minister said, since the start of the current year the ministry was able to spent 65 percent of development budget and until the end of ongoing year percentage would jump to 90 percent.
The projects included provision of drinking water, irrigation and other had been implemented so far.
The minister added 6,000 schools would be constructed in coming two years from locally produced materials.
The construction of 3,000 schools had been launched in 17 provinces and work on remaining schools would be launched next year.
