Taliqan City (BNA) Asphalting work of 18 km road has been completed in Roustaq district, northern Takhar province.
According to BNA local correspondent report, the road has been built with a sum of over 38 million Afghanis funded by ministry of finance with technical cooperation of rural road national program.
Sebghatullah Nazari head of rural rehabilitation and development department in Takhar said BNA reporter, the project include the construction of 30 culverts, 70 meters retaining wall, 1700 meters runnels and 800 meters stone runnels.
During the construction work of the projects work opportunities have been provided to 938 people, the source added.
By asphalting of the road environmental facilities have been provided to hundreds families in the district, the source concluded.
