Takhar (BNA) Nine people lost their lives and tens of residential houses have been demolished due to recent heavy floods in center and Districts of Takhar province.
Sonatullah Temori spokesman for Takhar governor told BNA correspondent, in the last week, flash flood inflected human losses and financial damages to people in several Districts of Takhar province.
According to Temori, in the event, nine people lost their lives, 20 others were injured and 500 residential houses have been demolished.
He added, so far, assistance took place for more than 200 affected flood families by local office and charity organizations.
