Aibak City (BNA) At least five passengers have died following traffic accident in northern Samangan province the night before last.
Col. Abdul Razeq director of accidents in traffic management of Samangan told BNA, the incident took place, while a car type of corolla smashed with a fuel tanker in Shahid Ankhoye region, Aibak city the provincial capital of Samangan province.
Two women and three men are victims of the event.
Driver of the fuel tanker succeeded to flee from the area, Razeq added.
Five road accidents were happened within the last two weeks in Kabul-Mazar-e-Sharif highway, across Samangan province, as a result 13 people lost their lives and 11 others were injured, traffic officials in Samangan province said.
